LADYBUK INK Blog Hop link correction

Well for the most part it went smoothly, however, the "next" link took you right back to Nichole's post.  I even tried it last night and it worked right but something obviously went awry!  The "next" blog was to take you to Liz Kay's blog at

Don't understand why I can't get the link to attach to the blocks now at all.  So anyway in order to get to the next blog, use the link above for now.  By next month hopefully I will have this down!!!!

Announcing LADYBUG INK Blog Hop

Hello everyone.  I am so excited to be a part of the LADYBUG INK blog hop.  My first ever blog hop!!!!  If you are on my blog you have just come from Nichole Gonzales' blog.  Kind of nervous being the first time to post one so I hope I get it right!   Our theme for this first one is Back to School.  This one was tough for me as I am way beyond back to school age children.  And I have to confess I have not invested much into children type stampsets.  But I saw this idea cruising Catherine Pooler's (I think) website or her StampNation and I changed it up a bit to be more mine than hers.  I used the Lovely Letters Alphabet, Memorable Moments, Occasions Alphabet stamp sets; Tangerine Tango, Wild Wasabi, Tempting Turquoise card stock; Natural Composition Specialty DSP; Versamark Ink; Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise and Wild Wasabi embossing powders; dazzling diamonds; and the Owl Punch.

This is a card which could be used for your students teacher to welcome her or him, whatever the case might be, to your child's class room. I have been very busy with my 9 year old grandson, Evan, who is about to return back to dad in Denver so he can get back to school.

Don and I will be taking him back up to Denver on Monday.  We will miss him, but must confess it will be good to be back to our normal schedule! He has had a lot of fun and we have done more swimming than I have done in many years.  Been to the zoo twice, botanical garden and aquarium once, and he went to a lot of fun places with his aunts. Went to a movie with Grandpa.  Fun things all summer long.  I think he is ready to go home.  He seems just kind of tired of all the activity.  He did chores for us and earned an allowance.  He was very dependable, completed them quickly with no complaining and did them well.

I best get this finished up and hopefully it all comes out the way it is supposed to come out!  If it all works like it is supposed to you will be continuing on to Liz Kay's blog, how appropriate one Kay after another!

Catching UP

I am finally getting caught up with pictures and my August schedule has been posted to my website.  I have been asked to come up with ideas for a wedding such as favors, note cards, possibly invitations, so I am sharing the ideas I used obtained from Lisa Brown on her You Tube Videos for the favors.  She had several awesome ideas which I had such fun creating for this bride to be.  A friend of mine will be introducing her to me tomorrow and I hope she likes what I have to demonstrate at my friends workshop tomorrow.  I also got one from Melissa Czernacki also a Stampin'UP demonstrator from our StampinConnection resource for SU Demonstrators.  So many thanks to them for being so willing to share their ideas with me.  This is one of the most caring groups of women you will ever come across when it comes to sharing ideas.  This is one of the reasons I so love Stampin'UP.  I am amazed how many people I run into who have never heard of Stampin'UP!!!

The Bravo Burgundy bag is from Melissa Czernacki and the other 3 are from Lisa Brown.  Once again thank you both for your shared ideas.  Also a big thanks to my sister Demonstrator Ruth Norton who permitted me to borrow her two tags die for the Wisteria Wonder favor idea.

I truly do love what I do, just been so busy with the Grandson have found it hard to stay focused.  One more week and we will be taking him back home to Littleton.  I will miss the little guy, but life does go on.  However, I would not trade one second of his time here.

I have a number of events scheduled on my Stampin'UP website, so I do encourage you to check those out under My Events for all the scoop and the dates etc.  Also hope to see many of you at the One Stop Co-Opp Presents Craft and Vendor Festival on Saturday, Aug. 4, held from 9-2 at the first Baptist Church of Tijeras.

I also will be sharing the other items I will be sharing tomorrow night early next week so stay tuned and I shall return!

Have a great weekend everyone and so glad to be back in the saddle again!
