Ladybug INK Blog Hop MDS

It is that time again to post our monthly blog hop.  If you are here to see mine you have most likely come from Nichole Gonzales Jaramillo's blog.  Since I am getting this ready prior to tomorrow when we are to have everythiing up and going, I don't know what hers or anyone else's is as yet, but I am excited to be posting my very first MDS project.  Ruth walked me through a couple of projects earlier this week and I decided to use the scrapbook page I created of my precious little Lili Ann, grand niece twice removed or some such thing.  She is my niece's daughter of her son Bryan.  All those levels just get so confusing to me.  She is so cute and I need to figure out what year it was so I can add that, but I feel good just what I did do completed.

Next stop will be Liz Kay's blog, enjoy our little hop as you move on, have a wonderful day!!

Stamp-A-Stack Tomorrow

I am so excited to meet with you tomorrow for my first Christmas Stamp-A-Stack. I am going to give you a sneak peak of a couple of the one's we will be making. The first 2 are part of the 5 different designs to be made tomorrow.  These particular layouts were originally done in a swap our group had a few weeks ago.  I really liked these but I wanted to make them more my own.  The blue ones were a completely different color and stamp set, but I didn't have the other stamp set so you make do with what you have!!!

The third one could be called a booboo, but it really was just an experimentation as it turned out.  I just didn't do the wrap around on the ribbon.  This one also does not look like it is embossed, but it really is and just like the one next to it.  If you scroll down further you will see it does shine but I had to hold it just so in the light to get it to reflect.

Actually this is the one we will be making.  But the next one just goes to show if you make a mistake you just punt!!!!

Anyway can't wait to see you tomorrow evening, 6:30.

Wow, where has summer gone to?  Don't know about you but I am so pleased it has finally cooled off!   Well this is a reminder of my schedule for September.  I already missed  getting this out in time to remind you all of my Stamping 101 class which I held this past Friday evening.  We had a great time creating 3 cards, 1 fall general card, check out my website for pictures, 1 for Halloween, really cute, and one for Christmas.  We also made a cute little canning jar with 4 Hershey Nuggets in it for a gift for someone special.   It was a great time.  Glitter was part of the menu and that was everywhere, faces and in the air!!!
Now this next Friday, September 14, I will be holding my first Stamp-A-Stack at 6:30 at my house.  We will make 4 each of 4 Christmas card designs, a total of 16 cards, to take home for $25.  Or, if you determine you would like to make more at home, you can order a minimum of $35  in supplies and then you take 16 cards home and when you get your supplies you can make more cards and only have paid for the supplies, such a deal. :)

My other event for the month, Friday, September 24, is my monthly Stampers Night Out, to be held at my house.  If you want some Dion's Salad please be there at 6:00 so we might be able to start right on time at 6:30.  This event has a $10 fee to cover the cost of your dinner, supplies for 3-4 projects for everyone to make and demo's.  There will be door prizes.
Please check my website at Stampin'UP website ,, for complete details for the door prizes.

Ooops, almost forgot, I am having an Open House on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 12-3.  This is an opportunity for those who have not attended any of my functions before to just come by and check out what Stamin'UP is all about, you will have an opportunity to make a card to take home and see some of the holiday ideas I have come up with since the new Holiday Catalog has come out.  If you are looking for some retired stamp sets and supplies, those will also be available for purchase and you can sign up for any of my future classes while you are here.  I will also be having door prize drawings so it should be a lot of fun.  Come on by and join the fun.  Thanks to all of you for your support and love for crafting or crafts!

And don't forget this month is the Back to Spool time, this month with a $40 purchase from the current catalogs via myself or my online store you can select a free spool of the beautiful stitched satin ribbon in the new In Colors for this year.
If you are into digital products, thru September 14 you can still take advantage of the 31% discount on select digital downloads and or digital print products, check it out on my website.

Also our Halloween Print box promotion for signing up as a demonstrator was also extended thru September 16, so that is a fabulous offer and it is really a cool Halloween project, and I even get one if you sign up under me, so come join me, you do this business your way.  Also more details on my website.  Or by all means call me if you need more information and can't find what you need to know.

Fall is knocking on the door...

Wow I can't believe I have gone this long without updating my blog.  We took Evan back to his home, Littleton, where he lives with his Dad.  He was so good while he was here, I mean we had our moments, but when you have kids involved who doesn't?  I know he missed his Dad and little sister Justice.  She was so excited to see him.  Justice and mom were waiting for us to get there, and Justice was out of the vehicle in a flash calling her brother's name.  She is such a cutie.

Well I think fall must be here, but someone hasn't told the thermostat outside it has, still way too warm for my liking.  Of course it is the year for a Presidential election and you have all that hoopla going on to remind you of the time of year, will not be sorry to see the election come and go and we can stop having the phone ring off the hook with political calls, people knocking on our door for the other side, and all the ads which neither side is really very accurate in their accusations.  So all in all it has been ugly campaign.  I just would like to encourage everyone to get out and vote.  If you are a citizen of this country it is your right and obligation to vote, even if you write yourself in, just vote, then you can't complain how it all comes out!  The point is every vote counts, so get out and vote.

I am getting ready for my Stamping 101 class tonight and thought you all might like to be teased a bit with what will be made this evening.  This month you will have 3 cards and one very adorable little gift item, all made from Stampin'UP stamps, cardstock, ink, Big Shot, die cuts etc. so come join the fun, just call me 280-5687 to let me know you are coming.  The class costs $10 or a minimum product order of $25.

I will try to get back to you again in the next few days to review next weeks event and what is planned to take place then.  Plus this month on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 12-3 I am having an Open House to introduce my neighbors to Stampin'UP and to show off the cool stuff we have particularly for the upcoming holidays.  Even if you are not my immediate neighbor, but you would like to come, do not hesitate to swing by. You will also have the opportunity to make a card!  And there will be door prizes and snacks.
