LadyBugINK BlogHop for December

Good morning everyone on this cloudy rainy morning.  You may have arrived at this page from Nichole Gonzales Jaramillo's blog, if so welcome to my blog.  I was awakened about 3:45, finally gave it up and got out of bed at 5.  Was really glad to see the temperature was in the 40's so I wouldn't need to be concerned about icy roads for Don to traverse to Cracker Barrel.    Anyway, here I am on time with some pictures of items we, as in Don and I, created for our last craft show last Saturday.  Our Blog Hop theme is Christmas, two are definitely Christmas the other one is a set of Coasters Don made with travertine tiles.  This design was a special order from my hairdresser, Tina Robles, at JCP in Cottonwood Mall.  She is fabulous, just in case your are looking for someone really good.  She is a single mom, raising two kiddos, working full time, well until recently, when they cut her and all the others down to less hours.  She is also going to school fulltime, so keep her in mind.  She's fast, she listens and oh so sweet.
Anyway back to the blog.  Since Don and I recently created 3 new items for the holidays, I could not pick out just one.  So you are getting 3 pictures.  The two I created are crafted with DSP paper.   The first picture is a sweet little angel tree ornament.  I got both ideas from Krafting with Karen on Blogspot.  The Angel was made from the Festival of Prints DSP pack, perfect dimensions for the angel.  Hot glue for adhesive, Simply Scored for scoring the folds, sorry but I really like the retired silver cord and really stocked up on it so I used it for the hanger, Bakers twine would have also worked, the head is 20 cm crystal from Michaels.  I used the champagne and red glimmer paper for the hearts using the small heart punch, gold and silver cardstock for the collar using the 1-3/4" scallop circle punch.  Hot glue for adhesive, I might have used Tombow Liquid glue for the heart.

For the 7" Bugle wreath, I also used  the Festival of prints DSP pack, Early Espresso ink, a green for the tree, don't recall which one and then Cherry Cobbler for the little tag, Soft Suede or Crumbcake Taffeta Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler dazzling Details, Christmas Deer Stampset, Christmas Lodge Stampset, Delightful Decorations Stampset, Antique brad, circle punch and bakers twine.  Hot glue for adhesive.
Last, but certainly not least, are the coasters Don created for Tina.  I think these turned out especially beautiful.  He made them using the Crosses of Hope Stamp Set.
I apologize for the length, but just wanted to share with you all.  I had so many cool ideas, but not near enough time to get them all created, guess there is always next year!  I will probably try some of the others, but not til I am done with Christmas presents.
