I went to let my dogs out this morning and I can't help but wonder how it can be so dry, worst drought in NM in many years, and yet the weeds grow and are so nice and green. Now how can that work? They don't get watered as the grass died out long ago so it is not because we are giving the "yard" any moisture. It's been a patch of dirt, more than a yard, yet the weeds grow. Not even tall ones, they almost look like dandelions. Well guess it is time to have Alek over to start cleaning up the yards for the spring and summer. Then we will start putting water to the rose beds and flower beds once I get those replanted. Already experiencing unusually warm days for this early in the year. Some days it has already been in the low seventies but even the sixties is warmer than the average temperatures for the season.
That is my conundrum for the day!
